This lavish, luxurious wonder is located right on the beach with breathtaking views of the gorgeous blue horizon. Villa Indigo Residence, a 490 sqm, thatched roof wonder has been created to offer luxurious, informal outdoor island living with an enormous outdoor deck accessed from bright and comfortable living and sleeping rooms. Nestled beautifully on the sparkling white, powder soft sandy beach and surrounded by palm trees and lush, tropical greenery, Villa Indigo Residence offers natural privacy, serenity and luxurious indulgence to happy couples.
The villa enjoys bright, contemporary styling where its natural colour palettes are beautifully accented with the odd splash of turquoise or other vibrant colours, complementing the colour of the natural surroundings. There are some lovely local touches giving a true sense of being in the Maldives. This light-filled residence enjoys sumptuous, custom-made furnishings which enhance the luxurious yet simple environment that brings together its Maldivian design heritage and the natural surroundings. Villa Indigo Residence boasts a beautiful bedroom, a gorgeous living space and an air-conditioned bathroom that re-defines bathroom luxury. The bedroom enjoys floor-to-ceiling glass doors that open fully to the deck and wondrous views of the beach and ocean. It also enjoys a stunning, high apex roof which drowns your bedroom in natural light. Your comfy kingsize bed faces the ocean. What a wonderful place to wake up! Your comfortable, circular living room also enjoys gorgeous beach views. Your air-conditioned bathroom offers a deep freestanding bath, an indoor rain shower and an outdoor, open-air shower, again set against a tropical jungle garden. You can enjoy a fabulous soak or shower with premium Acqua De Parma toiletries and wrap yourself in fluffy towels, fully relaxed. Inside the villa, you will discover a concealed flat-screen television, a dedicated wine chiller, a full-sized silent refridgerator, a coffee machine and kettle with gourmet coffee capsules and premium tea bags and a minibar.
You can step out from both the bedroom and living room to the most amazing deck with its beautiful, canopied circular day bed, its quality Maldivian-style swing sofa, luxury sun loungers, sun parasol, alfresco dining and its beautiful freshwater 60 sqm infinity pool. The sublime, boutique luxury Milaidhoo Maldives resort is located in the very heart of the stunning Baa Atoll in the Maldives. It is reached by a scenic 35 minute seaplane ride from Male International Airport with all transfers being arranged by the resort. Milaidhoo Gourmet Dining Plan is a dine-around offering of exceptional dining and drinks throughout your stay. You can enjoy daily breakfast followed by an indulgent set menu lunch at Ocean restaurant. You can also enjoy a delicious a la carte light meal selection at the Compass Pool  Bar. For dinner, guests are offered an a la carte dinner at Ocean or The Shoreline Grill. You will be invited to take dinner at the resort’s signature restaurant Ba’theli once every four days. Signature drinks and cocktails as well as fresh juices, soft drinks, teas, coffees, milkshakes and smoothies can be enjoyed at all of the bars and restaurants. In villa dining, minibar and wine fridge contents are not included in the plan. The exclusive Ba’theli Lounge and Restaurant is set on a boat in the lagoon and features gourmet dishes of inspired island cuisine from the Maldivian Spice Route. The ambience is magic! Guests dine underneath starry night skies or indoors where you can watch the vibrant sea life below though glass floors. The beachfront Shoreline Grill offers delicious grilled meats and freshly caught local fish inside the grill room with fantastic views of the show kitchens or outside in a private beachfront pavilion. You can arrange a chef’s ‘teppanyaki’ table where the chef will cook to your wishes. You can also arrange a pre-dinner wine tasting session in their wine room with the resort sommelier. The Shoreline Grill offers barefoot informality at its best. You will enjoy delicious tropical breakfasts at Ocean Restaurant sitting on the deck by the ocean. You can also enjoy a casual lunch or dinner here too. Guests can fall in love with the resort infinity pool while tasting delicious cocktails and light meals such as gourmet pizzas, bento boxes, salads and sandwiches at the wonderful Compass Pool Bar. The resort also offers magical in-villa dining experiences.

Milaidhoo Maldives welcomes repeat visitors over and over again. The pure luxury, the welcoming ambience, the stunning views, the spectacular villa designs and the delicious feasts are very hard to beat!Milaidhoo Maldives is located in the stunning Baa Atoll, 35 minutes by seaplane from Male International Airport. Guests can also arrive by private seaplane if you do not want to travel with other guests. Luggage is limited to 25kg per passenger plus 5kg of hand luggage. Excess baggage fees may be charged by the operator if you exceed this. Should you arrive in Male after 15.30, you can take a 15 minute domestic flight to Dharavandhoo airport followed by a speedboat ride to Milaidhoo as seaplane transfers only operate during daylight hours. All transfer charges will be added to your room bill.  
Being located on the equator, the temperature at Milaidhoo rarely drops below 27C, even at night time, so you should wear lightweight clothes during your holiday. The resort encourages a barefoot ethos, so although you cannot wear swimwear in the restaurants, you are very welcome to arrive without formal shoes. Flipflops or sandals are cool.
Hanifaru Bay is the jewel of the UNESCO biosphere reserve. In season, visitors will discover the world’s largest groupings of manta rays as well as whale sharks. Snorkeling with these peaceful ocean giants is an unmissable experience. The season runs from June to November and sightings depend on tide times, moon phases and currents. The resort runs three trips a week, weather permitting. They can also offer private excursions with the resort’s marine biologist.
At Milaidhoo, guests discover many inspiring moments and fabulous excursions. You can join a Maldivian fisherman, discover the island’s culture and history with a local, take a cooking class, join the resort’s sommelier or bar tender for a tasting class, enjoy a diving experience, enjoy an excellent variety of watersports, visit a local island, cruise with dolphins at sunset, sail away to a remote sandbank with a romantic picnic, cruise with champagne and canape treats on board one of the resorts luxury craft, set sail under the starry night skies and be at one with the universe, visit the resort’s gym or take an indulgent treatment in the spa.
Milaidhoo’s experienced diving team will take novices and expert divers to the best dive sites in the atoll. They boasts a five star PADI dive centre that offers house reef diving, boat diving, private diving, night diving, fluo night dives, manta ray dives and nitrox. Watersports include kayaks including clear bottomed ones, windsurfers, catamarans, stand up paddle boards, zayaks and snorkeling equipment. You can join the Marine Biologist programme and learn about the incredible sealife in the area. You will discover what makes whale sharks tick, why manta rays dance, what makes dolphins smile and help with identification and conservation practices. The resort’s big game fishing boat can take you to the high seas looking for wahoo, sailfish, swordfish, giant trevally or marlin for their catch and release programme. The Resort
Opened in November 2016, Milaidhoo is a boutique luxury resort in the Baa Atoll UNESCO biosphere reserve, close to Hanifaru Bay, 126km north west of Male. We’re perfect for nature lovers as our own coral reef, which encircles the island, is a protected area and noted as an outstanding snorkelling and diving site in its own right. Our tiny beautiful island, abundant with tropical greenery, measures just 300m by 180m and is fringed by soft deep white sand beaches.
Activities & Facilities
• Serenity Spa Our holistic treatment menu incorporates healing powers of plants combined with entrancing healing traditions from Africa, using local herbs and plants. Emphasis is placed on therapeutic and natural spa therapies using products by Elemis, TheraNaka and Coola.• Diving While the beauty of the Maldives is breath-taking, what you’ll find below the surface is even more moving. Our experienced diving team have the keys to the best dive sites in the atoll and welcome everyone, from novices making their first dive to experts logging their 1000th dive.• Watersports Water babies will love our collection of non-motorised watersports, which include kayaks as well as transparent kayaks, windsurfers, catamarans, stand up paddle boards (SUPs) and Zayaks (complimentary for our guests). Snorkelling equipment, which can be used free of charge during your stay, can be borrowed from here.• Excursions Sail away to your own private deserted sandbank where a feast awaits, cruise with dolphins at sunset with champagne and canapes on board one of our luxury craft or just set sail under the starry night skies and be at one with the universe.• Marine Biologist With the UNESCO biosphere reserve and the world-famous Hanifaru Bay on our doorstep, this is a great opportunity for you to learn more about the incredible wildlife in the area from our two resident marine biologists. Here you may discover what makes whale sharks tick, why manta rays dance, what makes dolphins smile and help with identification and conservation practices.• Fishing This ocean country stocked with plentiful fish calls to anyone with the soul of a fisherman. Our big game fishing boat can take you out to the high seas looking for wahoo, sailfish, swordfish, giant trevally or marlin for our catch and release programme.• Hanifaru Bay The jewel of the UNESCO biosphere reserve is undoubtedly Hanifaru Bay, the place where – in season – the world’s largest groupings of manta rays can be seen. This is also the place for whale shark spotting. Snorkelling with these peaceful ocean giants is an unmissable experience.

• Ba’theli lounge & restaurant Guests dine on the ‘deck’ of the restaurant where, underneath starry night skies, the team of chefs deliver an island influenced menu of locally inspired and sourced dishes. There’s also indoor seating in air-conditioned comfort where you can watch the sea-life below through glass floors. Expect to find seafood and traditional local flavours intelligently reinterpreted for the 21st century. • The Shoreline Grill This beachfront grill is where you’ll find superb meats and freshly caught local fish and seafood, simply cooked and beautifully presented. You can dine barefoot on the sand in a private beachfront pavilion, or inside the grill for a fantastic view of the show kitchens. We think several visits will be required including at least one evening at our chef’s “teppanyaki” table where our chef will ask what you feel like eating and cook accordingly.• Shoreline Grill Chef’s Table If you’ve ever wanted your own private chef to cook for you, here’s your chance. At our chef’s table, our team of chefs are ready to cook up a perfect dinner, just the way you want it, right before your eyes at our teppanyaki-style table. For inspiration, we offer a choice of set menus, as well as an a la carte menu to pick and choose from. • Shoreline Grill Wine Room It’s time to pop a cork or two. Whether you choose to stop off here before dinner, or leave this as a post-postprandial treat or perhaps an afternoon eye-opener is up to you.
