Set in over an acre of stunning grounds you will find the spectacular Villa Tanisha, with its beautiful warm Moroccan colours, elegant design, amazing terrace and private pool it is the epitome of perfection.  With all accommodation at ground level Villa Tanisha has facilities for up to eight guests, perfect for a family holiday, golf trip or a break away with friends.

The open plan interior oozes Moroccan elegance. The floor to ceiling glass doors allowing natural light to flood in yet showing off the dark starry skies reflecting in the pool in the evening.  The lounge areas are perfectly arranged to allow seating in small and larger groups, the opulent furnishings marrying with the warm terracotta of the external walls, the blue mosaic tiles of the tiled bar and the brass from the wonderful lamp hanging above the circular dining table.  There are several doors which access to the terrace with the dining area opening directly onto the pool itself.

Each bedroom is quite unique, beautiful decorated in bright Moroccan colours and accessories without being too fussy, each has a marble ensuite bathroom with rain shower. Each of these rooms also has direct access to a private area of the terrace overlooking the garden, one even opens directly onto steps into the beautiful outdoor pool.

Relax body and soul in the villa’s own hammam, a traditional Moroccan bathing experience, don’t forget to have a cup of hot Moroccan tea afterwards to complete the ritual.
The stunning pool which hugs the contours of the building opens onto a beautifully furnished terrace with loungers, soft comfortable sofas and intimate areas for when you want some time out together.   

As evening falls a beautiful calm aura is created by the darkening skies as the house lights twinkle on the pool, enjoy it while you prop yourself up at the mosaic tiled bar to enjoy your cocktails, cashews, and almonds, or as you dine under the covered terrace      

The perfectly manicured lawns gradually close in with beautiful palms, olive trees and pines strategically placed to always ensure your complete privacy whilst offering a different vista and several secluded places to relax and enjoy the garden throughout the day, whether it be on the sunbeds on the terrace or at the fantastic floor seating under the shade of the trees. 

From Villa Tanisha’s quiet secluded spot you can be in the centre of the bustling Red City as Marrakech is often known in 30 minutes.  

Sightseeing in Marrakech is best done on foot. The historical sights, including the Saadian Tombs, the Koutoubia Mosque, and the El Badi Palace can be done in one morning, leaving the afternoon and evening to focus on the arts and crafts of the city visiting the souks ending your day at the Djemaa El Fna.  

The Koutoubia Mosque dominates the Marrakech skyline, with the distinctive three golden balls atop the minaret. The story goes that the wife of Youcoub El Mansour ate three grapes one day during the fast of Ramadan. In penance she melted down all her jewellery and moulded them into these three balls.

The Djemaa El Fna is part market, part travelling fair. A dazzling array of entertainers congregate here every day, jugglers, mime-artists, musicians, fortune-tellers, snake charmers and boxers all ply their trade whilst vendors supply the crowd with freshly squeezed orange juice and all sorts of food. The best time to be here is dusk as the hypnotic beat of the Gnaoua drummers induces an almost trance-like state while you wander through the food stalls. To really appreciate the spectacle, take a seat on one of the rooftop terraces of surrounding cafés to watch the circles of people form and dissolve in response to the performances around them.  One of the nicest things about the Djemaa El Fna is the lack of tourist intrusion, the vast majority of the goings-on are for Moroccans, not visitors, and all the performances, recitals, plays and transactions are conducted in Moroccan Arabic.

If you came to Morocco for a golfing holiday, you are truly spoiled for choice.  There are some 18 different courses dotted around the city.   The Royal Golf of Marrakech, the oldest course of the kingdom, was first established in 1933, it was a great favourite of both Eisenhower and Winston Churchill.  They are all beautiful courses maintained to perfection, most having the stunning backdrop of the Atlas Mountains.
