There are plenty of modern comforts to add that extra level of luxury, from the open-plan master suite and window-side clawfoot tub to the contemporary living room and pull-down video projector. There’s also a conservatory dining area, benefitting from heaps of natural light and a pellet stove to keep things cosy.
But the Hudson Valley is best lived outside, and with the seasonable salt water pool, sauna and sprawling garden, lined with old apple trees, you’ll feel the slow pace of nature wash right over you while relaxing in style. Take your pick kayaking or fishing in Esopus creek at the bottom of the garden, wander the 6-acres of land, or hop in the car and explore this beautiful surrounding area.
