A quaint and arming villa located in Colares, Moradia Iuso is the perfect place to stay if you are looking to become more mindful of your exquisite surroundings. The exterior of this property is truly remarkable, as seen by the far-reaching lawn area that surrounds the grounds. This impeccable garden is lined with emerald-green grass, making it an ideal place to sunbathe or play games together as a family. Next to the lawn is a considerable swimming pool. Therefore, guests can either revel in the soft nature of the grass or take a dive into the cool water of the pool whenever they choose. This property is also home to a few outdoor terraces, each of which uses a high-end seating and dining area. Thus, these spaces are a perfect place to unwind after a busy day of sightseeing. Inside, this property is teeming with decadent decor, adding a sense of richness and opulence to the entire villa. The living area makes good use of a spacious L-shaped sofa as well as a range of ornate furnishings. As such, guests are encouraged to snuggle up on the sofa as they binge-watch their favourite shows on the flatscreen TV. Moving on to the dining area, this space includes a broad wooden table and a set of matching chairs. In turn, this space is able to exude a sense of timeless design and community in an effortless manner. The kitchen within this property adheres to a very traditional style, using a collection of white cupboards and patterned tiles. There is also an additional dining table within this space, helping guests to enjoy their daily meals in a group setting. The ground floor is also home to three bedrooms. The first room contains a pair of single beds, meaning that it is suitable for two small children or a couple who prefers to sleep apart. The second room is also perfect for children as it uses a bunk bed as well as two other single beds. Finally, the third bedroom includes a spacious double bed that is fitted with plump and ample linens.  Travelling up to the first floor, you will discover another bedroom. Alongside the extensive double bed, this room also provides access to its own luxurious en-suite bathroom.Moradia Iuso can be found in the vibrant region of Colares, a place that is well known for its rich history and alluring monuments. The Rua Augusta Arch is a deeply significant landmark within Lisbon and is best known for the scenic views that surround it. This triumphant arch was built in 1873 and was originally constructed as a bell tower. However, as the years went on, the building experienced a plethora of intense renovations, adding a range of arches and statues. Guests also have the chance to climb to the top of the arch and bask in the immense views of the Baxia district that sits below. The arch has only been open to the public since 2013 but has managed to make a fundamental impact on the culture of the region. The Rua Augusta Arch is only 45-minutes away from the centre of Colares. The National Palace of Pena sits on top of a grandiose hilltop and is located around half an hour away from the centre of the region. This expansive palace was once a traditional monastery that was transformed into an awe-inspiring residence for King consort Ferdinand II. This landmark is shrouded in Romantic motifs, creating a picturesque sight from any angle. There are a variety of audio guides on offer, allowing guests to explore the depths of this outstanding building at their own pace. Guests can also explore the nearby gardens, which are lined with an assorted array of beautiful plants. This monument welcomes guests every day from 9 am till 7 pm.  If you are looking to discover more about Colares’ royal history, the Quelez National Palace is a must-see attraction. This palace is filled with 18th-century decor, offering an authentic neoclassical design for guests to observe. Tourists can even embark on a tour inside the palace, revelling in the luxurious furniture and indulgent design. Once you have completed this tour, guests are advised to explore the adjoining gardens and travel through the crafted maze that is found on-site.
