Head up to this home’s first-floor balcony and you’ll see two of our favourite things about this newly built villa. The first is the large swimming pool that takes pride of place in the middle of the garden, along with an outdoor shower and a few loungers.
The second perk is the view of Pinhal Golf Course just beyond the home’s boundaries. Even if you’re not a fan of the sport, you have to admit it’s a pleasingly green vista to wake up to each morning.
Although this is an address in which the gaze is naturally drawn outwards, the interior is worthy of closer inspection, too. Along with the hallmarks of unshowy luxury — the shiny tiling, large kitchen and abundance of leather and wood, for instance — there are also a few quirky additions that add some character, like the cupids on the wall and the telescope.
When you want to make the most of the sunshine, you have plenty of options. Vilamoura’s marina and the beach take under ten minutes to reach in the car, which both give you the option for boat trips or watersports. If you’re after something more leisurely, there’s always the neighbouring golf course.
