Rent Villa Charleston Umbrella South Africa
Holiday Home Rental Description
There’s often a trade-off at play in tall apartment buildings. The top floors have better viewpoints, but the homes on the ground level sometimes get the outdoor space.
At least that’s the case at this address in Greenpoint. On this entry-level home, there’s a balcony with an alfresco table on one side and an additional patio with more seating and a barbecue on the other. As well as offering a couple of options for when the sunshine makes an appearance, the large glass doors leading to these spaces also have the added benefit of flooding the interior with ample natural light.
This asset is accentuated by the bright and contemporary design, which is heavy on wooden floors, sleek kitchen surfaces and muted grey walls. Furnishings are Scandi in influence, while colourful artwork adds some character. We’re also particularly fond of the sunken tub in the main bathroom, which is just the spot for a rejuvenating soak.
When it comes to seeing more of Cape Town, some of the city’s most exciting neighbourhoods sit on your doorstep. The galleries and restaurants of the V&A Waterfront are less than half a mile away and the sprawling nature of Signal Hill lies just behind the home. You don’t have to venture far for the seaside, either – Mouille Point Beach is around a mile away from the home.
