Rent Villa Lust Jacaranda South Africa
Holiday Home Rental Description
Thanks to its coastal location, mountainous terrain and dazzling architecture, Cape Town is a city in which you can find some pretty swoon-worthy views if you look hard enough. As luck would have it, this apartment has a vantage point that’s up there with the very best.
Step out onto the large terrace and you can spot everything from the V&A Waterfront and the Cape Town stadium to the glistening Atlantic Ocean on the horizon. There are plenty of ways for you to admire this panorama, whether you’re soaking up some sunshine on a lounger, cooking up a storm on the barbecue or enjoying the fruits of your labour on the alfresco dining table.
The floor-to-ceiling windows inside mean that you can gaze out over the South African capital from the comfort of the living room and master bedroom. Rather sensibly, the interior design doesn’t try to outshine the vista, instead opting for simple Scandi-esque furnishings, sleek kitchen surfaces and a colour palette of soothing whites and greys – very much a case of ‘less is more’ at its most effective.
When it comes to seeing a little more of the city, you don’t have to venture far to find attractions. Signal Hill lies behind the home if you fancy a bit of a challenge and there’s no end of restaurants dotted about the harbour as a reward for afterwards. What’s more, both Mouille Point and Three Anchor Bay beaches are both under a mile from the front door.
Home truths:
*There’s no lift in the building and guests have to climb up two flights of steps to reach this apartment
*The building has no private parking available, but there’s a bus stop on the same street and paid car parks a short walk away
*The balcony is shared with the neighbouring apartment and although each home has its own allocated side, there’s no partition between them
*Both of the bedrooms have twin singles that can be arranged together if preferred
