Along the Costa del Sol, between the buzzing epicentres of Marbella and Malaga, this apartment can be found in the resort town of Fuengirola. You’ve got supermarkets, restaurants and bars within easy walking distance and the charming harbour and sandy beach of Fuengirola are two kilometres away. Both Marbella and Malaga are around a half-hour drive away, ideal for day trips.
If you’re not beachside, sunny days can be spent lounging around the shared swimming pool or keeping an eye on the kids at the on-site playpark (Aqualand is just a kilometre away too). There’s a gym and sauna for those that like to keep on top of their fitness schedule. At the apartment, the highlight has to be the big, private terrace, which looks out over the town and hills. South-facing, it catches the sun during the day, but the dining table and lounge area are shaded. Inside, slate-grey and midnight blue furnishings are complemented by wicker touches, adding a bit of rusticana to the otherwise modern interior. A full kitchen is ideal for self-catering and there’s plenty of room for the group around the dining table.
