Villa Pascoli is a five-bedroom, four-bathroom luxury villa in the charming town of Pollença, in the Ternelles Valley, with sweeping views of Pollença Bay. Located a short drive from the town centre of Pollença, you’ll soak up the luxurious vibe as soon as you walk through the door. The villa combines chic furnishings with generous flourishes of antique-style chattels to bring guests into a Balearic lap of luxury.
The grand hallway, complete with black and white tiles, stretches the length of the ground floor and runs under the crisp white walls and ceiling. In the living room, guests can relax on one of the two large sofas, which sit close to a working fireplace, perfect for cosying up at night with a glass of Spanish red wine in hand. There’s also a satellite television with DVDs for keeping kids entertained and a great selection of books and games.
A sleek dining room which seats up to eight people overlooks the surrounding greenery, and guests can open up the large French doors to let the warm Spanish air flow through the room. Prepare your food in the large, country-style kitchen decorated with elegant and colourful wall and floor tiles.
Each of the five bedrooms is as stunning as the rest of the house, with crisp linens and touches of wood creating a warm and light space. On the ground floor, there are two double bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom and a twin room with access to a toilet. On the first floor is the master bedroom with a king-size bed, a desk, an en suite bathroom, traditional orange terracotta tile flooring, and direct access to a terrace with spectacular views. There’s also a twin room with two queen size twin beds and an ensuite bathroom with access to the first-floor terrace.
Guests love to spend hours on the sun loungers next to the 12m heated large swimming pool under the blue sky, and it’s no wonder people come away with enviable golden tans. There’s also a fire pit surrounded by comfy seats and a barbecue area, perfect for dining al fresco. If the view wasn’t enough to keep you occupied, there’s also table tennis and table football to enjoy during your stay.Villa Pascoli sits close to the charming town of Pollença and is a short fifteen-minute drive to Port d’Alcudia in North East Mallorca.
Pollença is an ancient town steeped in a rich history which guests will be charmed and delighted by at every turn of its narrow and pretty streets. The ‘Pont Romà’ two-arched bridge dating back to Roman days continues to be a draw for day visitors and history buffs alike. The town centre houses the 18th-century Mare de Deu dels Angels church, which has a beautiful rose window. The church is a fine starting point for learning about the fascinating history of the town itself, which dates back to the time of the Knights Templar. The centre beautifully mixes history and tradition with leisure; visit on a Sunday morning, and you’ll find the square lined with market stalls and local Mallorcans relaxing with a coffee after church.
Another historic buildings are a former Jesuit convent which is now the town hall. One of the town’s most popular destinations is the Calvari church. Climb the 365 steps (one for each day of the year) lined with cypress trees and be rewarded with views of the town and all the way up to the Bay of Pollença.
A few kilometres away is Port de Pollença. The stunning Port de Pollença Beach offers a horseshoe-shaped bay with soft golden sand, sun loungers, and parasols and offers a range of cafes, bars and restaurants. The popular coastal walk is the Pine Walk, named for the pine trees which line the cobbled trail and take you along a beautiful collection of sandy coves and little beaches.
A ten-minute drive away is Port d’Alcúdia, a popular resort town which at high season, bustles with people who come to seek fun and enjoy the restaurants, beaches and activities that the port has to offer. The main beach is Playa d’Alcúdia which has received the much coveted European Blue Flag for its clean waters. Being very family-friendly, the beach has excellent facilities, including showers, toilets, and changing areas. There’s also a children’s play area, gym equipment, and for those wanting to get out on the water, there’s a huge range of water sports. Kayaks, paddle boats, and stand-up paddle boards are all on offer.
