Villa Platano is an idealistic home in the hills, situated in between the charming town of San José and the fantastic Cala Tarida beach. Nature is most certainly alive and thriving at this home.
Palm trees gently tower above the gorgeous white exterior, potted flowers decorate the garden and the outdoor dining area is shaded by vegetation. What’s more, Villa Platano is located amongst glorious and fragrant pine and eucalyptus hills.
Outdoors, the large shimmering private pool in the garden provides you with relaxing and revitalising morning activity. Swims can be enjoyed against the epic backdrop of beautiful green hills.
In the garden, a sheltered wooden daybed invites you for a nap in the dazzling sunshine. Once you’ve slept off the jet lag, sun loungers and an outdoor lounge placed poolside provide everything needed for relaxing and socialising amongst friends & family.
Sliding doors provide access between the indoor living area and an outdoor dining room. The interior is beautifully enhanced through stylish crisp white décor and lovely wall art. The living area is where to retreat to on cooler nights.
Plush comfy furnishings surround a flat screen television – this is where you can appreciate quality time amongst loved ones. The open plan indoor dining area is a sophisticated yet cosy space where you can show off your best Mediterranean cooking skills (or order in, no one will know!)

Start your morning with an outdoor yoga class on a secret clifftop just minutes after sunrise. From this hidden location, you will be able to look over vistas of the rocky beach of Cap Negret while exercising your mind, body and spirit.
After yoga, instructors will take you to Cala Salada as the daytime rolls in for a nice revitalising swim in the sparklingly clear waters. Then, you will enjoy a continental and tasty breakfast on the cliffs of Punta Galera before finishing up for the morning and continuing on with your day. This experience is suitable for both beginners and yoga devotees. Cala Tarida is a lovely sandy bay situated nearby the home that is perfect for quietness and tranquillity. Although it is home to a few hotels and apartments, this beach rarely gets crowded so is ideal for catching sun rays in peace!
As well as basking in the bliss, visitors to Cala Tarida can also partake in a fun range of watersports or grab a bite to eat at the luxurious Cotton Beach Club. The beach benefits from amazing views as it’s surrounded by pine forest and faces the south so enjoys the sunshine from morning until night.
