| 4 Bedrooms|

Rental Description

The immaculate, sparkling new, luxurious Villa Nevada boasts four stunning bedrooms, gorgeous open plan living space, some of which enjoys a striking double height aspect, a beautiful pool and gorgeous sea views from the upper balcony. It is located just 700 metres from the sea at La Caleta, close to Tenerife’s glamorous resort of Costa Adeje.
The charming fishing village of La Caleta offers some of the best seafood restaurants on the island, amazingly clear, turquoise waters, colourful fishing boats and a pretty, rocky coastline. There are some breathtaking beaches behind the mountains to the right of La Caleta which are a climb down. The fishermen tend to moor their boats in the bay of La Caleta and swim rather than sail to shore. The village has become a foodie hot-spot where visitors can knock back some delicious local wines along with fish straight off the boat. Many of the restaurants are waterfront, offering a magical ambience while the sun sets behind the neighbouring island of La Gomera. Every August La Caleta hosts the traditional celebration of Virgen del Carmen with a religious procession to a flower adorned boat followed by dancing, music, delicious feasts and fireworks. Golf fans are delighted with the location of Villa Nevada within very close proximity of an outstanding golf course.
Villa Nevada enjoys striking contemporary design that features huge picture windows and plenty of seamless floor-to-ceiling glass doors. The open plan living space offers the wow factor in bucket loads with astonishing contemporary artworks, a double height ceiling in parts, seriously cool furniture and two walls of glass. It is drowned in natural sunlight. The sleek kitchen sits at one end with top notch appliances and a dining table and trendy chairs in front of it. Comfy sofas and chairs sit at the other end enjoying the garden views and the giant wall-mounted television. Just outside on the terrace is an alfresco dining area.
The four bedrooms are beautiful, generous sized spaces with sumptuous kingsize beds in two and comfy twin beds in the other two. You will discover gorgeous contemporary wallpapers, hotel quality linens, delightful furnishings and lovely views from the oversized windows and doors. There are two exquisite bathrooms to share, both beautifully tiled and with the very best of fittings.
Outside, guests enjoy spacious terraces, a gorgeous swimming pool, luxury loungers, a trendy alfresco lounge area under a contemporary sail canopy, alfresco dining and astroturf areas. From the upper balcony, guests can see the sea. The charming, peaceful village of La Caleta is located a stone’s throw away from one of the busiest holiday resorts on the island. La Caleta is one of Tenerife’s gems with outstanding fish restaurants that have increased its popularity. You can walk to Costa Adeje from La Caleta but it will take you roughly an hour. The village offers a very relaxed atmosphere and inviting, super clear water. Many visitors flood to La Caleta to enjoy its spectacular sunsets. There are no sandy beaches in the village but you can take a dip climbing down the stairs from the rocky platforms. Just beside the village are some gorgeous beaches that are not accessible by road. The paths can be steep in places but the remote beaches are definitely worth the climb back. Playa Los Morteros is a gorgeous rocky cove with many places to jump into the clear turquoise sea. Playa Diego Hernadez has regularly been voted one of the island’s most beautiful beaches. It boasts eighty metres of glistening powdery white sand and is popular with naturists. As well as its August festival, La Caleta hosts a big fiesta in January dedicated to the patron saint of the village, San Sebastian.
Just along from La Caleta is the trendy, upmarket resort of Costa Adeje, popular with the most discerning of visitors. This fabulous resort boasts sophisticated sandy beaches, high-class entertainment and fine dining. You will find exhilarating watersports on the beach, whale and dolphin watching boat trips, cycling trails, championship golf courses, stunning panoramic views and some thrilling adventures for children.
Tenerife’s southern beaches are stunning. The chic Playa del Duque is excellent with soft golden sand and crystal clear water. Luxury loungers line the beach and the elegant promenade is alive with atmospheric restaurants and bars. Playa Fanabe is also gorgeous. The tranquil cove of Playa Paraiso is famed for its different varieties of fish. Many of the beaches in the south offer vibrant revelry and clubbing.
Visitors should also explore the dramatic highs of the mountains which offer amazing views and extraordinary beauty with some of the most fabulous hiking in the whole of Spain. Taking the cable car is the easiest way to enjoy the panorama from the peak of Mount Teide. On a clear day, the volcanic valley captures the eye and you can see the islands of La Gomera, La Palma and El Hierro. The stunning, volcanic Teide Park has to be a highlight of any visit to Tenerife.
Tenerife Espacio de las Artes is a dramatic, contemporary arts centre in Santa Cruz. The incredible building was designed by the Swiss architects and Pritzker Prize Laureates Jacques Herzog and Pierre de Meuron. Their portfolio also includes London’s Tate Modern. The three galleries and stunnng library display incredibly creative art, photography and installation exhibitions. Puerto de la Cruz is home to Jardin Botanico, a magnificent botanical garden with plants from all over the world, including roses, tropical and subtropical plants, palms, herbs and a giant 200 year old Australian Moreton Bay fig. It was established in 1788.
La Laguna Old Town is close to Santa Cruz and is considered to be the cultural capital of the island. It is an important historical centre, a real step back in time with elegant buildings from the 15th-17th century. It features fine palaces, many churches and various religious buildings. One of the loveliest squares is Plaza del Adelantado, home to the town hall and a convent. Plaza del Crito boasts a lively market selling flowers and produce.
La Orotava is another beautiful town which is worth visiting. Other fantastic places to visit on this diverse island are Candelaria, an important pilgrim destination, Garachico, a beautiful little town on the north coast and Masca, Tenerife’s most beautiful village set amongst superb mountain scenery.
