El Senglar is a lovely traditional home in a quiet residential area of Blanes in the Costa Brava. Ideal for guests who are seeking peace and comfort, this property has three bedrooms accommodating six guests. The private pool, mountain views and gorgeous garden are stand out features of this wonderful home.
The villa has a traditional décor; its rich wooden beans provide a comforting warmness against the crisp white walls. The traditional aesthetic suits the pace of life in this part of the world, the wooden furniture and ornaments herald to a place where life moves a little slower and calmer, the perfect way to start a holiday! As you enter the villa, you will naturally be drawn to the heart of the home, the living area. With an abundance of natural light and excellent views of the surrounding scenery, it is a fantastic space to enjoy a good book. The room has a sofa and two armchairs, along with a television and fireplace. From the living room, you can walk through to the dining area; this cosy and intimate space is ideal for enjoying group meals. It even has access to the outdoor patio area. Through the hallway is the kitchen space. Fully equipped and modern in its décor, the guest will find everything needed to cook some tasty homemade meals.
All three of the villa’s bedroom are on the ground floor, and these include two double bedrooms as well as a single twin bedroom. The bedrooms are furnished but have plenty of natural light, with one of the double bedrooms offering additional seating for an extra bit of privacy.
El Senglars outdoor areas are really the standout features of the property. The garden area is beautiful and very spacious. The two-tiered garden has a vibrant flowering garden next to a long lawn area, with trees providing plenty of shade during the summer months. All of this can be viewed from the upper terrace and private pool area. The private pool has plenty of privacy and space for a sun lounger, allowing you to make the most of the reliable weather. Be sure to make use of the barbecue and dining area, enjoying wonderful al fresco meals throughout the day as you appreciate the great views and fantastic company.

Located in a quiet residential area of Mas Guelo in Blanes, El Senglar is a peaceful villa with fantastic views of the surrounding mountains. Although the villa is in a quiet neighbourhood, the towns many amenities are all within walking distance. A supermarket is a fifteen-minute walk away, and the town’s beach just twenty minutes away on foot, this is sure to make your stay as easy and relaxing as possible.
Blanes is a popular destination for both families and couples visiting the region. There are plenty of bars and restaurants catering to different needs and tastes. So, be sure to explore the towns narrow streets and lookout for some of the local specialities, tapas and fresh fish. Known as the gateway to the Costa Brava, Blanes signifies the beginning of the famous coastline and what better way to do this than a huge beach stretching across the town. Be sure to spend a day on the golden sand, making the most of the clear and calm waters, and you could even grab a snorkel from a nearby shop for a glimpse of the sea life found in the shallows.
For keen walkers, there is a wide range of hikes in the area, with some of the best following the dramatic coastline. Many of these walks will guide you to small coves and hidden beaches, giving you the chance to escape the crowds and enjoy a little privacy in some of the regions more secluded spots. You can even walk to the next town over Lloret de Mar!
Lloret de Mar is a larger and more popular town with tourists. Known for its vibrant nightlife and fantastic restaurants, it is well worth exploring. Go during the day and visit some of the town’s great cultural sites. Turó Rodó is one of three original Iberian sites uncovered in the town, and it gives a fantastic insight to the first settlers in the region and just how deep the history of the area runs. After a day of sight-seeing, enjoy a cool glass of wine on the promenade as the sun sets, before heading to one of the towns popular restaurants for a delicious meal. What a way to spend the day!
