Rent Villa Blueberry Aster London
Holiday Home Rental Description
Sitting opposite a tree-lined square garden that’s quintessentially West London, this ground-floor apartment puts you right in the heart of one of the UK capital’s most well-heeled neighbourhoods and offers guests some elegant living quarters of their own.
The design definitely leans on the contemporary side, with stark white walls and bare wooden floors matched with gold accents, chic furnishings and a chandelier hanging from the ceiling. All of the bedrooms and bathrooms look to minimalist trends for inspiration and manage to execute it well. We have to concede that the galley kitchen is a little dated in style, but it’s certainly well-equipped enough for a bout of home cooking.
However, given that the famous King’s Road and its exemplary selection of restaurants are less than five minutes away in the back of a taxi, the home’s culinary shortcomings might not matter too much. Elsewhere in the local area, you can catch a match at Stamford Bridge, only a quarter of an hour’s walk away, or an exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery, a similar amount of time away on the tube.
Home truths:
*Although the single-floor apartment is on the ground level of the building, it’s not wheelchair accessible
*There’s no air conditioning but the host provides a pair of fans
*The building has no designated parking but there are paid spaces nearby and Earl’s Court underground station is only eight minutes’ walk away
*Though there isn’t a dedicated desk here, the dining table doubles up as a laptop-friendly workspace
