Rent House Topaz Honey Cornwall
Holiday Home Rental Description
A stay in the Cornish village of Marazion isn’t complete without a visit to one of the region’s most incredible sights – St Michael’s Mount. Less than a fifteen-minute walk from this striking castle island, this house might not be as historic, but interesting in different ways. We love the exterior of this modern, environmentally low-impact home. The rich wooden planks on the structure give a Scandi vibe to this unique design and build. Inside and out, the home uses materials and technology to reduce its energy needs. Another fantastic exterior feature is the garden – this secluded spot is the perfect place to crack open a bottle of wine upon arrival (or after the kids have gone to bed). With a hanging egg chair, lush plants, and a charcoal barbecue, you can spend plenty of sunny afternoons out here. But you can’t always trust the English weather. Slip back into the plush lounge via huge glass sliding doors, where you’ll find yet more gorgeous wooden features, alongside superbly tasteful furniture and plenty of faux fur throws to keep you cosy. And with views of the Mount from the bedroom, you won’t forget to head out and explore.
