We’re outdoor lovers ourselves, so we’d look forward to exploring the grounds, taking a dip in the pool in summer or heading out for long coastal walks on the nearby Jurassic Coast. There’s also an all-weather tennis court on the grounds. If you fancy a change of scenery, the timeless Regency town of Sidmouth is half an hour away, while the charms of Exeter and the picturesque seaside town of Exmouth are forty minutes’ drive.
