Visit Larmer Tree Gardens in Cranborne Chase, which is a twenty-five-minute drive away and features lovely lawns radiating broad laurel-hedged drives that lead you to the calm woods beyond — in spring, there is a wonderful display of Camellias, Rhododendrons, and woodland planting. Alternatively, for a new perspective on the countryside, ride a horse through the New Forest. We suppose you’ll be hungry by this point, so head to your neighbourhood pub, The George, for some hearty pub grub, and even better, it’s only a six-minute drive away.
