Set in a charming row of pastel houses, the building has stood here since the mid-19th-century and there’s a surprise in the back garden. Stepping inside you’re met with flagstone floors and exposed brick walls, showing off the history of the house. The living room is divided into two cosy seating areas by a corniced archway, both set around beautiful original fireplaces. Glass doors lead to the sunny kitchen where a range-style cooker adds some old-world charm to the otherwise contemporary design. Open the back door and you’re in for a surprise – the back garden is home to a hydropool and Jacuzzi, illuminated by fairylights at night. You might want to spend evenings soaking in the hot tub, but if you do venture out into Weymouth you’ll find traditional fish and chip bars, a long sweep of beach and a harbour lined with restaurants and shops.
