Before you even enter the house, you’ll come across a private heated swimming pool, as well as a sauna and hot tub. If that isn’t enough, guests also enjoy access to another swimming pool, this one shared among neighbouring homes — along with a large field perfect for lawn games and sports. After all this frolicking about, you’ll be thankful for the barbecue and alfresco dining table on the terrace.
Heading through the glass doors, you’ll be greeted by a rather grand double-height dining room with glorious views of the outdoor space. When the weather isn’t being so kind, there are tables for pool, ping-pong and foosball, which are guaranteed to keep boredom at bay for a while.
If, however, the sun’s out, there are footpaths from the house to embark upon that lead to nearby village pubs, but further afield, you can reach the mythical town of Glastonbury in only twenty-five minutes by car and Lytes Cary Manor in under ten.
