Grace Bay Penthouse boasts two elegant bedrooms, indoor and outdoor luxury living and dining spaces, a gourmet kitchen and a fabulous extended, ocean-view balcony. This penthouse has it all and is perfect for families and friends. Two sofa beds are available as extra sleeping spaces. The living spaces are drowned in natural light, with glass doors opening to the wraparound balcony. There are two stunning bedroom suites, one with a king-size bed and the other with a queen bed. Both beds are beautifully adorned with crisp cotton and luxury soft furnishings. Nearby, you will discover the wonders of Sapodilla Bay, Blue Hills Beach, Pelican Beach and Taylor Bay. The island has been discovered as a kiteboarding paradise within the British West Indies. The steady, smooth winds at Long Bay are just perfect for kiteboarding.
Golfers enjoy the greens and views of the beautiful 18-hole championship Provo Golf Club open to members and visitors. It’s a challenging course with a quick pace of play, a full-service pro shop, a practice warm-up net, chipping and putting areas, a flood-lit tennis court and the Fairways Bar and Grill. The course enjoys the natural flora and fauna of the island with an abundance of native island bush, inland lakes and swaying palm trees. It is home to colourful native birds, including egrets, herons, waterfowl and migratory flamingoes. Visitors can enjoy the Island Fish Fry at the Bight Children’s Park every Thursday between 5.30 pm and 9.30 pm. Along with many local food vendors, there are entertainers and cultural acts that make this a very colourful, vibrant event. The aroma of fresh fish, the visual treats of boiling lobster and conch salad, plates loaded with crab and rice, lobster mac and cheese and local island corn are prevalent. New bands take to the stage along with local favourites, dancers and other cultural acts. There are locally handcrafted items for sale, folklore storytelling, maypole plaiting and instrument demonstrations. Smith’s Reef is a beautiful snorkelling site off central Provo with several distinct reef systems and coral heads. The outer reefs are the best easily-accessible beach snorkelling site on the island. It is located near Turtle Cove on the north coast of Provo, roughly three and a half miles from Grace Bay. It is possible to walk from Grace Bay. Visitors enjoy an extraordinary abundance of colourful wildlife and reef fish, including green turtles, hawksbill turtles, southern brown stingrays, majestic spotted eagle rays, stoplight parrotfish, and more. Under the ledges, there are spiny lobsters, slipper lobsters, banded coral shrimp, spotted moray eels and channel crabs. In addition, the hard and soft corals, sea fans, sponges and other sessile animals add to this beautiful picture.
