Whether you’re keen on shopping along the Strøget (about a five-minute walk away), climbing to the top of the Round Tower (just two minutes on foot) or strolling along Copenhagen’s waterfront, we can’t think of a better base for a stay in the Danish capital. From this central spot, you can easily explore on foot or cycle around on a bike – but when you don’t fancy walking, you’ll love having the metro nearby to whisk you across the city.
Our favourite spot to relax back at home is the dark yellow sofa – it’s the perfect place to sprawl out after a busy day taking advantage of the restaurants, boutiques and museums that dot this corner of Copenhagen. Each bedroom is as comfortable as the next and, thanks to the open plan layout, you’ll be able to gather together as a group with ease. For dinner, rustle up a homecooked meal in the glossy kitchen – we suggest Danish classics like stegt flæsk (crispy pork) or smørrebrød (open-faced sandwiches) – and share it around the table alongside a local bottle of ale.
