Every room has a different character in this Vesterbro home. We love the glamorous Hollywood Regency-inspired materials in the living room that mixes well with an exquisite 1960s teak cupboard. Yellow-Green Apple is artistic to perfection – and it’s fun to see how trivial art mixes with artsy exhibition posters for a new and personal look. The bedrooms are largely bohemian in style, offering plants, colourful patterns, and cosy bedspreads aplenty.

* The host lives in this home so you’ll find some of her personal items left in the flat – clothes and toiletries etc
* There’s no lift up to this fourth-floor home, be prepared to climb up the seventy-five steps with your luggage
* Due to its rooftop position the home can get quite hot in the summer – it doesn’t have any air conditioning!
* Bedroom two is a lot smaller than the master bedroom
* One of the beds is a sofa bed so the fifth guest will have to sleep in the communal area
* There’s only one bathroom for all five guests – it might take a bit longer for everyone to get ready in the morning
* The bathroom has some limescale build-up on the sink and the showerhead
