We’re smitten with every funky inch, and it’s impossible to choose our favourite feature – the fireplace, separate study and sumptuous main suite are all top contenders. That said, there’s something undeniably blissful about the front porch. Settle down in the egg-shaped wicker chairs, pour yourself a glass of peach iced tea and spend the evening swinging in the breeze.
When it’s time for dinner, home chefs will adore cooking up a storm in the blue kitchen, which is kitted out with everything you’ll need to rustle up collard greens, mac and cheese and other Southern staples. Afterwards, curl up on the sofa with a glass of wine and watch a movie on the Apple TV – if you ask us, that’s the perfect way to end the day.
As far as locale goes, Cabbagetown’s artsy vibe is an excellent fit for guests wanting a taste of Atlanta’s local atmosphere. You’ve got plenty of buzz nearby, thanks to cosy coffee shops, quirky eateries and lively neighbourhood bars. But you’re also close to the BeltLine, Krog Street Tunnel and Oakland Cemetery when you fancy a spot of sightseeing. And with King Memorial station about a twenty-five-minute walk away, you’ll have excellent access to downtown, too.
