The quaint village of Gennadi is a real gem. A quiet and peaceful area on the island of Rhodes, it features strips of coastline that are still untouched, buzzing open-air tavernas and cool seafront bars. And this home, with its elevated position and views of the water, is a mere five-minute walk away.
Inside the villa, it’s bright and modern with a crisp white and grey colour scheme. There’s a fully-equipped kitchen for whipping up tasty lunches and quiet bedrooms that tempt an early night. The most defining feature for us is the fifteen-metre pool stretching the entire length of the exterior.
With such a generous outside area, it’s easy to while away a day swimming and sipping ouzo before firing up the built-in barbecue for a traditional Greek feast. After the plates are cleared and you’re feeling replete, head over to Gennadi Beach (fifteen minutes away) for an evening stroll. What better way to walk off all the delicious Greek mezze you sampled at dinner?
