A traditional home that’s been fully updated for the 21st Century, with some fabulous details that are typical of Cycladic architecture, the first thing you’ll want to do is explore and take it all in. There are two charming, vaulted living spaces, cooled by the gentle sea breeze, while two well-equipped kitchens mean you can all cook together or allow some of the group to be a little more independent – that’s if you’re staying in and not strolling to one of the nearby bars or restaurants, of course.
The bedrooms, each with its own stylish shower room, are also a joy, and the two floors are joined by a staircase carved into the rock itself. The master suite even has its own staircase curving up to its bathroom. Curves, as you will notice, are a theme here and they continue throughout the home and out onto the terraces, where luxurious curved hot tubs await on both levels.
Set in the village of Imerovigli, you’ll have easy access to the home and it’s just a matter of steps to the shops and eateries. A quiet area away from the larger towns favoured by the cruise ships, you’ll find an authentic, slower pace of life that we think is the very best way to experience this beautiful island.
