The house dates back to 1920 and instructions to build it were left in the French painter Sinibaldi’s will. You’ll be enchanted by the Doric columns outside, which give way to a grand reception area with six-metre-high ceilings. The sense of luxury continues throughout the house, with a marvellous collection of antique furnishings and beautiful details – look out for the chandeliers and stained glass. And, if you head for the terrace, you can admire the beautiful sea views, glass of prosecco in hand.
When you fancy a day by the water head for Marina Piccola Beach, a rocky cove with crystal clear waters. Bustling Capri Town, with its seafood restaurants and luxury shops, is a similar distance away when you feel like treating yourself. And, if you want to get off the beaten track, head for the peaceful hiking trails around rugged Monte Solaro.
