From the upstairs balcony to the gazebo covered in Virginia creeper, there’s plenty of spaces to relax with a glass of wine, basking in the serenity of the rural location in the heart of the Emilia Romagna hills. On sunny days, cool off with a dip in the pool before settling down to an alfresco feast, lovingly prepared in the modern kitchen, or when you don’t feel like cooking, sample the delicious Italian cuisine at one of the local restaurants. When you’re in the mood for an adventure, Bologna is certainly worth a trip, or head to the famous Riviera delle Palme on the Marche coast for a beach day – it’s only an hour away.
