Despite the excellent location, you’ll feel a world away in this ever-so-charming home – its secluded area feels like a warm hug. Inside, there’s a quirky interior with vibrant pops of colour and vintage prints adorning the wall. The home features mosquito nets over the windows and there are blackout blinds in the bedroom to ensure you get a good night’s rest, ready to explore Milan’s historic streets and piazzas in the morning.

*This charming apartment is ideal for a couple’s holiday, but the sleeper sofa and four-seater dining table mean that two more can easily be accommodated – although we would recommend this home for just two
*There is a frosted divider between the sleeping and living areas but it does not have the privacy of a separate bedroom
*You’ll need to climb a total of ten stairs up to the entrance of the apartment and the bathroom is a little narrow, so it may not be suitable for those with limited mobility
*There is private parking space in the garage for up to two vehicles
