Rent Apartment Engine Whitewood San Marco
Holiday Home Rental Description
Thanks to the absence of glass skyscrapers and an abundance of towering spires, Venice offers some superb rooftop views if you’re fortunate enough to have a vantage point. As luck would have it, this apartment in Campo San Maurizio has a large terrace with plenty of seating from which to survey a 360-degree panorama of the city’s skyline.Rather remarkably, that’s not the only outdoor space – leading off from the kitchen is another terrace, this time with an alfresco table and there’s also a balcony off the bedroom.
Although you’re very much encouraged to live the alfresco life at this address, the interior is equally as pleasant in our books. The high ceilings and large windows make the space feel bright and airy, something also aided by the stark white walls and shiny wooden floors. Although there’s a minimalist approach to the furnishings, many of them are antique in style and rather characterful, such as the ornate bed frame and the grand wardrobe in the kitchen of all places.
With such a central location, you perhaps won’t be surprised to learn that you’ll have some pretty illustrious neighbours if you stay here. The Teatro La Fenice opera house is two minutes’ walk around the corner, as is the baroque Chiesa di Santa Maria del Giglio. A little further afield, Saint Mark’s Basilica can be reached in less than ten minutes on foot.
