From this base, you can brush up your history at the World War II Museum (a 10-minute walk) or make a beeline for the jazz-infused bohemian Crown Jewel of New Orleans; the French Quarter (a 15-minute walk). Once you’ve filled up on Sazerac cocktails, noted down some historic anecdotes, and filled your camera with old-world architecture, it’s time to eat your fill of New Orleans cuisine before a nightcap in the warm and welcoming communal lounge.
