The house itself is designed, plantation-style, by architect Larry Warren and makes the most of Barbados’ balmy climate. The living and dining room has a wall of arched doorways, opening up to an ocean view wrap-around terrace furnished with rocking chairs, coffee tables and sun loungers. The classy kitchen is a chef’s dream with its huge range-style cooker, wall-sized fridge and walk-in pantry, though a private chef is available to cook all your meals if you wish. Sunsets here are legendary, and with a dedicated bar between the kitchen and living room, there’s no better place for a sundowner.
