If you’re staying in the summer, make use of the private pool. Keen swimmers will have a choice between this and the sea – there are plenty of spectacular sandy beaches nearby. The hamlet of Springs is also known for its budding art scene, with a selection of contemporary galleries to check out while you’re in the area. Travelling by car? Make the twenty-minute trip to neighbouring Montauk, where buzzy bars and fine dining establishments await.
