The floral sofas, rich rugs, antique wooden furniture and chandeliers create a maximalist design that avoids verging into the chintzy, instead offering a traditional Hamptons haven that any family can make themselves at home in. Modern convenience isn’t sacrificed for the sake of traditionalism, with cable TV in several of the four bedrooms and even a home gym on the top level. However, between all your holiday adventures – borrowing the home’s two bicycles for a trip to the nearby beaches, splashing about in the private outdoor pool, or grilling up dinner to enjoy on the patio – we think you’ll struggle to fit in a workout.
