This home in upstate New York is geared up for summer getaways that live on long in the memories of all those there. In the enclosed garden, there’s a swimming pool for paddling about during the day, and a barbecue grill and fire pit for after the sun’s gone down. If the temperature stays warm, there’s even a projector screen for outdoor movie nights. If, however, the weather isn’t so pleasant, the screened porch provides somewhere to relax. Back inside, the recently renovated interior feels fresh and modern, thanks to the white walls, wooden flooring and the odd statement light or two. Down in the basement, there’s an additional projector, as well as a workout space. The local town of Rosendale is known for its trestle bridge, which can be reached in just over twenty minutes on foot. In addition, there are a whole host of hiking trails nearby — Rondout Creek is a highlight and only takes ten minutes to reach in the car.
