While the home is perfect for playing in the lush garden, cooking up a storm at the barbecue and snuggling up close on crisp wintry days, we highly recommend heading out to catch a glimpse of the Slovenian wilderness. Head out with the kayaks to Kolpa river, which can be found in a fifteen-minute drive, to explore this beautiful area by water. In the same length of time, you can also reach the stunning Kostel Castle, which sits atop forested hills overlooking the valley below. Cycling through Brezice to Bizeljso is also a must, while the city of Maribor is an excellent place for tourism and settling down in cosy little restaurants for a deliciously warming bowl of Pohorje pisker.
