The porch wraps around the side of the house on both floors – there’s a picnic table for lazy breakfasts in the dappled shade and a swinging hammock chair to while away the afternoon reading a book. And if it’s a spot of spirited competition you’re after, there’s a cabana house in the driveway filled with a foosball table, games and a basketball court outside. If you can drag yourself away, you’re only a block from King Street – Charleston’s historic, Downtown district known for its boutique-style shops, upscale bars and authentic restaurants. Or take the short twenty-three-minute drive to Folly Beach for a playful day of sand, sea and surf.
