Rent Apartment Grape Palmetto The Boroughs
Holiday Home Rental Description
A beautifully restored example of the colourful wooden houses that Charleston is famous for, this place is as warm and welcoming as the buttery facade suggests. We love all the character inside – think exposed brick, hardwood floors and vaulted ceilings. The real highlights, however, are the two porches – one in the front, the other in the back – as well as the balcony off the main bedroom. These are the perfect spots to enjoy your coffee in the morning sun, sip sweet tea and people-watch in the afternoons and relax in the cool evening air with a mint julep. The back porch even has a grill for when you fancy a burger or corn on the cob. There are other perks inside – a kitchen fit for any chef, four comfortable bedrooms and a bright and cosy living area with a sumptuous sofa, smart TV and a collection of rainy day board games in case you need them.
But with a location as good as this, rainy days might be the only ones you spend here. It’ll be hard to resist the pull of the boutiques, trendy bars and excellent eateries on lively King Street – just one block away. History buffs will love strolling around Fort Sumter National Park, while beach fiends can hit the sand at Folly Beach, a twenty-minute drive away.
