The open-plan living space is the real highlight here, with stripped back beams, a central staircase and a brick fireplace. Period features abound and we particularly love the sash windows that flood this room with light from three sides. And a cosy seating area and dining table flow seamlessly through to an excellent kitchen, with a big island where you can sit and chat over coffee in the mornings. The bedrooms, all a good size and beautifully furnished, are spread over both floors and there are more than enough smart bathrooms to keep everyone happy.
From here it’s less than ten minutes by foot to King Street, where you’ll find all sorts of fabulous places to eat and drink, and it’s just a twenty-minute drive if you fancy a trip to this area’s beautiful beaches.
