When it’s time to explore, you’re under a twenty-minute walk or five-minute drive from the heart of Locarno. Known for its fondue and local wines, food lovers will adore walking its cobbled streets and stopping into small, traditional food and drink spots. And thanks to its proximity to Italy, Lake Maggiore is actually shared between Italy and Switzerland, you can be sure to enjoy plenty of delicious pastas, pizzas, and gelato.
