And this is before we’ve even got around to the interior, which belongs in the pages of a glossy magazine — we’re talking palatially high ceilings, large modern artworks on stark white walls and a kitchen so sleek that you almost feel guilty using it for cooking. If you want to keep up your fitness routine during your time here, there’s a Peloton bike, but don’t feel guilty for hunkering down by the stylish fireplace and watching a movie, either.
When it comes to seeing a little more of the locale, you can go hiking in the Wild Basin Wilderness Preserve, which lies less than ten minutes away by car, or head a quarter of an hour in the opposite direction to reach the centre of Downtown Austin and its famously weird attractions — the Museum of Weird is as good a place to start as any.
