After a cup of tea on your private terrace, follow the East Lyn River for ten minutes to Blacklands Beach. Find a spot on the pebbles to tuck into a bag of vinegary fish and chips or search for critters in the rock pools.
If you’re an avid walker, ramble along the South West Coast Path from the Valley of Rocks to Lee Abbey and Heddon’s Mouth – it’ll take you around an hour and a half if you go at a leisurely pace. And as the day draws to a close, treat yourself to a well-earned gin and tonic at The Ancient Mariner pub – it’s only a five-minute stroll from your doorstep.
