Impeccably styled by designer Imraan Ismail, this home mixes traditional pieces like wingback chairs and mismatched antiques with modern upgrades, like the rain showers over the bathtubs and the gold mirror that cleverly hides the TV. Cook up a storm on the baby Aga stove, cuddle up in front of the log burner with a well-thumbed book or, if you need to check your inbox, work from home at the desk in front of the original windows. On sunny days, spend your time out in the garden, enjoying afternoon tea and a mid-day snack in the summer weather. We’re blown away by the attention to detail, too – the hosts have everything covered, from Cotswold Sweet Company candies to munch on and goodies from the famous Daylesford Farm to the umbrellas, two bikes and the range of Hunter wellies in different sizes for walks through the countryside. Speaking of, Kingham and the surrounding area are ripe for exploring. Just down the street are two charming pubs serving award-winning cuisine, while Daylesford, Soho Farmhouse, and many picture-perfect Cotswolds villages are only a short drive away.
