Rent Apartment Frostbite Cassia Cotswolds
Holiday Home Rental Description
Unplug, rest and reset at this glorious 17th Century cottage tucked away in the picture-perfect village of Kingham. Inside, there are all the beams, inglenook fireplaces, and flagstone floors you’d expect from a period property, but it hides a few surprises too. At the rear of the home is a contemporary extension that’s begging for large groups to come together. In winter months, gather your troops for a lazy lunch around the large dining table as the log burner roars. And when the sun shines, fling those bifold doors back and head out into the immaculate garden to fire up the wood-burning stone pizza oven and dine alfresco. We love the cosy nooks to retreat to as well – with a sitting room, and separate study, both complete with crackling fires and storybook velvet armchairs to curl up into. When it’s time to soak up village life, trot down to your beautiful local, The Wild Rabbit, for posh pub grub, just a five-minute amble away. Or jump in your car and head for Daylesford (five minutes drive), with its impressive farm shop, dubbed the Harvey Nics of the Cotswolds. Whatever you choose to do, it seems impossible not to relax here.
