Originally built in 1875, this former methodist chapel fuses old and new in the most fabulous way. The deep blue colour scheme is very ‘of the moment’ and the glossed, natural wooden features instantly warm things up. Flashes of gold peppered from here to there add a sense of grandeur, meanwhile the hanging light fixtures draw attention to the traditional high ceilings. We love the fact that the original wooden doors have remained a permanent fixture – they’re just so elegant, and really retain the building’s period charm.
Character oozes from every nook and cranny. From the church organ dining room table to the archway windows, we’ve got a heck of a lot of love for this interior – and the outside of the home is lovely, too. With a furnished, pristine decked terrace and patio area, when the sun is shining, be sure to pop outside with a flute of fizz & soak up the rays in style.
