A rarity for the city, it manages to strike the perfect balance of new and exciting offerings, offset by yesteryear charm – for every biodynamic wine bar serving small plates, an old London boozer is pulling pints of authentic ales with a side of peanuts. If you want to get out and explore, you’re around a ten-minute walk from the green spaces of Highbury Fields. From there, it’s just a few minutes to the award-winning butcher, fishmonger and fromagerie in Highbury Park, where you can stock up for dinner. If you fancy heading to Central, the Victoria Line can have you on Oxford Street in fifteen minutes, while the Overground provides links to the neighbouring areas of Dalston, Hackney and Shoreditch.
