Upstairs, the bedrooms feature deep burgundy hues, bright yellow side tables and cushy beds, not to mention stylish bathrooms with luxurious rainfall showers. It’s like a rainbow explosion in the very best way – and, as an added bonus, the pretty courtyard garden is the perfect spot to savour a glass of wine in the summer sun. We can’t think of a better place to kick off our shoes and recharge.

Blackstock Road is just a few steps away, where chic brunch spots, international eateries and local pubs provide plenty of options when you don’t fancy cooking. Go for a jog in Clissold Park (a five-minute stroll), catch a football game at Emirates Stadium (fifteen minutes on foot) or hop on the train at Finsbury Park station (just a ten-minute walk) and be in King’s Cross in no time.
