Pad downstairs in the morning to the bold blue kitchen and rustle up a delicious breakfast. On summer days, take your fare alfresco and enjoy your coffee in the garden or settle down around the sleek dining table instead. After a day spent exploring all London has to offer, come home and sink into the sumptuous sofa while a fire crackles in the wood burner, followed by a relaxing soak in the clawfoot tub. If you need to do some work, the second bedroom has a desk fit for Zoom calls, while the children’s rooms have plenty of books and games to keep the kids entertained. Locals love Clapham for its array of international eateries, traditional pubs, trendy bars, and independent coffee shops – all of which can be reached on foot – and the transport links to central London are excellent. Hop on the tube at Clapham South (ten minutes away) and you can be in buzzing Leicester Square in twenty minutes, or if you’re in the mood for a bit of shopping, take the bus to Chelsea’s iconic King’s Road, reachable in twenty minutes.
