The brutalist architecture of the exterior of this home is a great sight in itself, being a Grade II listed building. After a busy day exploring all that the capital has to offer – take a seat on this stylish apartment’s balcony with its views across the city skyline to St Paul’s Cathedral. It’s the perfect place to have a glass of Champagne. If the weather isn’t so good, unwind in the winter room or read a book on the comfy sofa. We love the light-filled living space, and we were surprised by how quiet this place is, given its fantastic location. The cherry on the cake here is your host, who has put a lot of thought and detail into the home, including a delicious welcome hamper on arrival.

*Guests five and six would be on a sofa bed in the living room – there are blinds on the vertical windows but they do not fully blackout the light
*There’s no dedicated parking here, but with so much on your doorstep, we’d recommend leaving the car at home
*There are a couple of supermarkets such as Waitrose and Sainsbury’s in the centre below this apartment
