Rent Apartment Blue-Green Guttapercha South Downs
Holiday Home Rental Description
Perched on a peaceful country lane in a rural location, only a ten-minute drive from the town of Midhurst, this unique Victorian cottage is bursting with character from inside out. The garden backs onto fields with ponies grazing and there is even a swallows nest hidden in the cottage eves as you’ll see their flight display come early evening time. With an abundance of natural beauty surrounding this home – it is a sublime spot to escape the daily grind. One of the home’s most striking features is the shepherd’s hut in the garden which serves as a fourth double bedroom for two adventurous guests. You’ll also find a large lawn with a seating area (the perfect spot for an afternoon tipple) and a covered pergola with an alfresco dining table and chairs. If you’re more of the sporty type, why not have a game of a table tennis table or croquet when the sun comes out? Spend leisurely lunches barbecuing some local fare or during the colder months inside at the formal dining area. Eclectic interiors present a quirky space filled with shades of pink, cream and grey through a mix of traditional and contemporary features. Gather around the wood burner in the living room for a board game or quiet moment with a book in hand. Ideally located within the South Downs National Park, you’ll be just a ten-minute drive to Midhurst and the exciting Polo at Cowdray Park (fifteen minutes away). Meanwhile, the coastline at West Wittering is reachable in fifty minutes by car.
