This comfortable apartment on the fringes of Whitby’s bustling town centre will give you an instant sense of cosiness as soon as you step through the front door. Plush sofas, gold light fixtures and velvet dining chairs radiate sumptuousness – plop down with a glass of wine following a day by the seaside and you can’t help but feel relaxed. The open plan layout lets everyone socialise together – while kids stay entertained with a DVD, grown-ups rustle up dinner in the kitchen and still keep an eye on the little ones. And being all on one level, it’s perfect for every family member, from grandparents down to the tiniest relatives.
Location-wise, you’re less than a ten-minute stroll from Whitby’s restaurants, shops and pubs. Across the river lies the famous abbey and 199 steps – trust us, it’s worth the trek for the view – but of course, the main draw here is the beautiful Yorkshire coast and sea. Whitby Beach is walkable in twenty minutes or so – that’s a sweet enough spot for us.
