A dining table with zesty yellow chairs takes centre stage – come together for a home-cooked breakfast and hot cups of tea before throwing on your sun hat and heading to the seaside. You’re a ten-minute walk from the beach – fifteen if you stop for an ice cream. Cross the River Esk and climb the 199 steps to reach the famous Abbey. With all of that exploring, you’ll have worked up quite an appetite, so pick up a fish supper from an award-winning chip shop and enjoy overlooking the harbour.
